Liberty Whiskers announces run for tn-07 special election
Franklin, TN – June 11, 2025 – In the wake of Representative Mark Green’s announced resignation, Libertarian Liberty Whiskers today officially launches his bid for the special election in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District. The move follows Green’s recent departure announcement after securing key votes on the federal budget plan. The special election is expected for later this summer.
“Frankly,” said Liberty Whiskers, “Tennessee needs a true survivor in Congress. Someone who’s lived through dumpster fires and recessions and emerged victorious. I’ve been surviving on scraps, and defending my bins—what more do you need from a representative?”
Why Liberty Whiskers?
Wildly Experienced: Liberty has navigated the rugged terrains of Clarksville, Franklin, Columbia, and Murfreesboro—literally, by night.
Trash-Tested: Built on natural resilience—built right on the bones of crumpled Chick‑fil‑A wrappers and discarded BBQ ribs.
Economic Maverick: Focused on economic sustainability and preventing a recession, Liberty Whiskers is adept at working with less to do more. Donations accepted exclusively in found pocket change. No corporate PAC money.
Local Values: Supports a return to local Tennessee values.
“As career politicians and deep-pocketed insiders line up to replace Rep. Green—including Commissioner Matt VanEpps—Tennessee voters now have a truly grassroots, dumpster-bred alternative,” said campaign manager Laura Brown. “Liberty Whiskers is a living testament to resourcefulness, freedom, and a healthy distrust of authority.”
